The Easter holiday is a good time for family fun. A classic staple of the Easter holiday is, of course, the famous Easter egg hunt, but your kids may want to participate in some other Easter-themed activities, too. Listed below are some super fun activities that your kids are sure to enjoy on the upcoming Easter holiday!

1. Decorate and Paint Easter Eggs

Painting eggs is both fun and creative. Your kid can artistically express themselves while painting the Easter eggs and adorning them with glitter, gems, and colors!

2. Play Jelly Bean Games

When you buy a variety of tasty jelly beans from a candy store or the Jelly Bean Factory, you can make them enjoyable in different ways. One way your kids can have fun with jelly beans is by playing some games, including flavor guessing or guessing the number of jelly beans in a jar, and each person guesses how many there are, and whoever gets it correct gets to eat the beans!

3. Easter Egg Hunting

As previously mentioned, egg hunting is among the best traditional ways to enjoy the Easter holiday. Hide some eggs in different places and send the kids on a quest to find them. Once they have collected all the eggs, award them with treats correlated to the number of collected eggs. Bigger eggs can have bigger rewards, or certain colored eggs may attract bigger rewards.

4. Play Egg and Spoon Race

Egg and spoon race is another traditional, amusing and thrilling way to have fun during an Easter holiday. It simply involves balancing an egg on a spoon and racing with it. It is fun and appropriate for kids, teens, and even adults.

5. Go Out on an Adventure

If your kids love nature and exploration, you may consider getting them out of the house and taking them on a hike or an Easter picnic at the park! You can also provide more of an educational experience and use this time to take them to a museum or a theatre to enjoy the Easter family time together and learn something along the way.

6. Go Camping

Another explorative adventure for kids on Easter is camping. Choose a family-friendly environment for camping and take the kids there. Camping can be both fun and a family bonding time. Inviting some friends to camp along might be a good idea to make the experience more fun.

7. Teach the Kids to Bake

An Easter holiday is a perfect time to teach your kids how to bake and try out new recipes. Try baking new goodies and have the kids try them out. If you want to spice things up, invite some friends and their kids over and have a baking competition.

8. Organize an Easter Play

Organize an Easter play and encourage the kids to perform it; this is a great way to keep them entertained, occupied, and educated during the Easter holiday. Enhance the play look by creating a stage and getting the appropriate props.

9. Plant Flowers

The Easter holiday is a hallmark of spring and new beginnings. What’s a better way to engage your children in the Easter holiday than by enlisting their help to plant beautiful flowers in the yard? Ahead of the holiday, you can let your kids pick out some flowers that they would like to plant. Your child will feel greatly accomplished by helping you complete such a task.

10. Watch an Easter Movie

Some funny cartoons and animations may be appropriate to keep the kids happy and occupied on the Easter holiday. Spice things up by watching easter movies and others not related to Easter; most importantly, keep them age-appropriate.

Conclusion

All of these activities are fun and kid-approved. They are sure to create precious memories with your children. Make the 2022 Easter holiday count by doing some of these fun and enjoyable activities with your little Easter bunnies.
