Apply gentle essential oils for babies when it’s time to sleep
Gentle oils such as lavender, serenity blend, vetiver, etc. are good for lulling kids to sleep, it is imperative to dilute 1-3 drops of these oils in a teaspoon of a carrier oil, such as coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil, etc. – since concentrated oils may have a very strong scent. Gently apply some behind the ears of the baby, on the feet, the sheets and even on yourself (since you’d most probably be rocking the baby). This will work like a charm, but be sure to use the same scent every time (or if you want to change, then do so after some time, like once in a few months).
Apply on baby’s blanket or favorite stuffed toy
Before doing so, please ensure that this has to be done only when the baby is at least 12 months of age and the safety guidelines of the blanket or toy must be followed; concentrated oil must not be used. With that in mind, apply a diluted mixture on your baby’s favorite toy, and let them cuddle it, and that’s pretty much it.

Another great way of providing your baby with a healthy sleep is using a diffuser, preferably without a light – so as not to disturb your child’s sleep. Try one with a timer or with a consistent low output for optimum results.
