Prepare Your Dog for Boarding

If this is the first time you’re leaving your dog, separation anxiety can be challenging to overcome. If you plan on traveling, you need to prepare your dog for those times that you’ll be away. Schedule a date with your dog or spend more time with your dog before you leave.

Ensure that your dog sleeps in their bed from home, even if they stay inside the boarding kennel. Without a familiar, cozy bed, your dog won’t be able to sleep in an unfamiliar place. Everyday items can make your dog more comfortable, even if you’re absent from their sight.
